Visible Banking: interview with Chris Skinner, Founder at Balatro

Balatro_2 I initially came across Chris Skinner four years ago, when I was working in the payment and the anti-money laundering industries. Chris is well-known in the UK banking industry.

FsclubChris is a busy man: he owns Balatro, his own consultancy firm, he is the Chairman of the financial services club in London, an active blogger on finextra, as well as the author of several books...

Chris is passionate about new/emerging technologies and their impact on the banking industry. Chris is a regular on the speaking circuit and he travels the world to share his vision on the future of banking, the convergence of media, and topics such as Social Networking, Virtual Worlds, Social Media and Web 2.0.

Yesterday, I spent an hour with Chris at the Institute of Insurers in London. During the interview, we talked about the future of banking, social media in the uk banking market and Chris's workshops at the BAI Retail Delivery Conference in Las Vegas in November 2007.
