Finovate 07: interview with Shawn Ward, Co-Founder of Geezeo

Geezeo I shot my first video interview of the day with Shawn Ward, Co-Founder of Geezeo, a free web-based personal finance application.
I also spent some time during the show, and the cocktail party, with the other Co-Founder, Peter Glyman.

According to Shawn, Geezeo was the first company to aggregate text messages. During the conference, what a perfect timing, Shawn announced the addition of Investment Accounts.
Geezeo are always looking for "Geezeo agents" on the university campus to recomment the site and recruit more users.

iWant: Geezeo taps Facebook
Gezeeo launched an application on the popular Facebook, called iWant. It is was a smart move. It enabled them to tap into the trusted networks and groups within Facebook, have access to a critical mass of potential users, create a lot of buzz and increase their brand awareness.

You can share your goals with your contacts, and your contacts can support you by promoting your goal or even making a contribution using PayPal.
