I covered the first Finovate event organized by Jim Bruene
back in October 2007 (in New York City).
The event was such a success that Jim decided to organize two more Finovate events in 2008: FinovateStartup & Finovate 08.
I was delighted when Jim invited me to be the official live blogger on NetBanker at FinovateStartup
in San Francisco.

Please note that I will update this post in the next few days.
I wanted to publish this post from San Francisco before going back to London. I didn't have the chance to work on my blog since Tuesday, as I have been busy shooting more interviews with some of the presenters, and meeting with a few banks and social software solution providers.
FinovateStartup was another great, well executed, event. An event with a unique format and a unique line-up. Congratulations to Jim and Eric!
The pace and the technical issues made it challenging to live blog on NetBanker, but what an experience. I am glad I had the chance to contribute to this event.
The overall feedback from both the presenters and the attendees was excellent, even though the 5mn format - and the connection issues - made it challenging to the presenters... and the live blogger. ;)
I shot over 15 video interviews which will be available on Visible-Banking.com in the next two weeks.
